Is the way you “think” and “do” things getting in the way of your long term parenting goals? Do you often try to “fix” everything that goes wrong with your children/teens? Discipline isn’t just about giving kids/teens consequences for “misbehaving,” instead it ensures children are gaining the necessary skills they need to become responsible and respectful adults.
Parents use a variety of parenting approaches in raising their kids, and bottom line, kids need discipline, especially kids and youth who have experienced trauma. Positive Discipline helps kids manage their anxiety as it teaches them how to problem solve and self-regulate when they have a caregiver who can keep them safe. Join us to learn how you can use positive discipline when parenting children under your care.
Please note, no childcare is provided or available onsite. Do not bring babies or children to class. Thank you!
