Online | We Are Family: The Unique Challenge of Kinship Caregiving
(A class specifically for Kinship Relative Caregivers)
This class will explore the change in relationships that occur when a relative or kin becomes a parent to a related child due to abuse or neglect. Participants will also analyze the impact that these changes have on the family as a whole and identify effective ways to manage conflict and discomfort. Participants will watch and discuss the short documentary “Why Can’t We Be a Family Again?”
