California’s Continuum of Care Reform (CCR), set to improve outcomes for children and families, is guided by the principle that all children deserve to live with a committed, nurturing, and permanent family. Two changes from CCR that impact families and caregivers include Child and Family Teams (CFTs) and Level of Care (LOC) rate determinations.

Come hear an overview of these processes to learn what the caregiver’s role is within the CFT and the rate determination process and to discuss how social workers and caregivers can work together to enhance youth safety, permanency, and well-being.
