Cultural Considerations: Hair & Skin Care for Multi-Ethic Children

This workshop is designed to provide practical information on hair and skin care for resource parents caring for children of varying cultural and ethnic backgrounds. This course will offer skills, techniques and answer questions to assist caregivers in meeting the hair and skin care needs of their children. A resource booklet filled with tips, guides, and product resources will be provided to all participants.
The participant will understand & practice :
- The importance of hair care
- The importance of image for children in care
- Cultural implications
- Resources and how to identify/use them
- Hair care techniques
- Applying and understanding products
Please note, no childcare is provided or available onsite. Do not bring babies or children to class. Thank you!
